Nothing special about this manual at all. It should be labelled the haynes really basic stuff manual. As usual the electrical system is only a few pages of TYPICAL circuits which are unlikely to be the one on your car. I suppose this manual is successful in showing you just how good the Bentley manual is compared to this one.

Covers basic information such as oil changes, flushes, brakes, etc. I was hoping for more information on electrical issues and sensors. My Jetta doesn't shift into park all the time, Google told me it was the brake light sensor or solenoid in the shifter; this manual doesn't show any detailed info on this. The bentley manual from what I read online is much better, but for maintenance this book will suffice. If all you need is a general layout of where basic things are, then go for it.

I own an old 2000 Volkswagen Jetta. She is a bit of a beater so I got this manual to better preform repairs on my own. The information was exactly what I was looking for. Arrived a few days ahead of schedule.
