OPERATION MORPHEUS is set in a major university in an important city. The time is appproximately one hundred years after the collapse of civilization. The players take the parts of people who, having volunteered to take part in a 'short-term' experiment in cryogenic suspension, awaken many long years after the planned time. Naked and unarmed they must face a strange new world. The Empire Of Karo is a multi-adventure pack with a complete campaign background based on the area of Cairo, Illinois. The time is twenty years after the collapse of civilization and Karo is the hub of a growing empire based on revived river trade along the Mississippi.

Worth having.

Operation Morpheus is the best of the Aftermath modules out there.
In addition to an outstanding story potential this is the supplement with the most comprehensive appendix of post 2000 Warsaw and NATO tech.
This is a bit different that most Aftermath modules in that it is presented more as a dungeon rather than a thumbnail sketch of a city and the surrounding areas. A very challenging dungeon.
This is the prequel to the Sydney supplement and the two should be run together in my opinion. When the players finally get bored in the University complex, and that will take a long time, Sydney is waiting for them. The question then becomes, you have quite a bit of lost tech knowledge and access to an absolute horde of gear. What happens next ? Sydney has an answer for that.
